En Génesis capitulo 18 se narra como Abraham hospedó ángeles sin saberlo. Meditando en esta porción reflexionaba en que muchas veces el Señor nos permite ser hospedadores con la finalidad de bendecirnos y hacerse real entre nosotros.
A finales del mes de octubre comenzamos a recibir amigos y familia en nuestro hogar. No podemos expresar la alegría que fue tener a personas tan especiales con nosotros en este tiempo.
Romina pudo hacer amistad con Mary cuando estudiaba en Horizon School of Evangelism en San Diego y a partir de ese momento les ha permitido vivir muchas experiencias en diferentes momentos. Mary nos vino a visitar junto con Wendy desde San Diego y pudimos pasar buenos tiempos mostrándoles Santiago, y lo que hemos estado haciendo acá. Entre pláticas risas y anécdotas poder recordar cómo Dios nos trajo acá a Chile con un propósito.
En seguida de ellas tuvimos la grata sorpresa de tener a mis papás y a mi hermana, sin duda algo que no esperábamos tan pronto.
Cuando venimos a Chile era difícil pensar cuando íbamos a volver a abrazarnos, pero Dios hizo realidad el encuentro de nuevo con ellos, y estuvieron cerca de 3 semanas con nosotros. Esto en verdad nos dio mucho ánimo y trajo a nuestra memoria de nuevo lo que Dios movió en nuestra familia para traernos hasta Chile.
No hay coincidencias cuando se trata de los planes de Dios. Y eso lo recordamos cuando después de mis papás tuvimos la visita de un amigo entrañable, y compañero de milicia.
Nacho vino a visitarnos justo dos días después de que mis papás regresaron a México. Y fue un regalo tenerlo una semana acá.
El Señor nos permitió servir con él en la alabanza y la cafetería cerca de dos años en Awaken CDMX, y ser testigos de su crecimiento y madurez espiritual. Sin duda su visita fue muy especial para nosotros.
Dentro de las actividades de la iglesia tuvimos una reunión de pastores de diferentes congregaciones. Nos reunimos cerca de 7 iglesias en un salón para escuchar la Palabra y tener comunión unos con otros. La visión que Dios nos ha puesto como iglesia es poder servir a otras iglesias con lo que Dios nos ha dado.
Al siguiente día de la conferencia nos reunimos a compartir un desayuno en Calvary La Familia todos los pastores y segundos de cada iglesia. Fue un tiempo muy hermoso de orar unos por otros, animándonos y exhortándonos a caminar juntos en la encomienda que Dios nos ha dado como creyentes.
En Awaken Santiago, las mujeres organizaron su reunión y Romina tuvo la oportunidad de compartir un mensaje para las mujeres. El Señor ha ido añadiendo poco a poco a más familias a la iglesia, incluyendo más mamás y esposas.
Sabemos que Dios preparo detalladamente esos momentos para poder mostrarnos Su amor y cuidado de diferentes formas. Como familia estamos muy agradecidos por todo esto ya que fue un refrigerio para nuestro corazón.

In Genesis chapter 18 it is told how Abraham hosted angels without knowing it. As I meditated on this portion, I reflected on how many times the Lord allows us to be hosts with the purpose of blessing us and making Himself real among us.
At the end of the month of October, we began to receive friends and family in our home. We cannot express the joy it was to have such special people with us during this time.
Romina was able to form a friendship with Mary when she was studying at Horizon School of Evangelism in San Diego, and from that moment on it has allowed them to live many experiences at different times. Mary came to visit us together with Wendy from San Diego, and we were able to spend good times showing them Santiago and what we have been doing here. Amid conversations, laughter, and anecdotes, we were able to remember how God brought us here to Chile with a purpose.
Immediately after them, we had the pleasant surprise of having my parents and my sister, without a doubt something we did not expect so soon.
When we came to Chile, it was difficult to think about when we would be able to embrace each other again, but God made the reunion with them a reality, and they were with us for close to three weeks. This truly gave us great encouragement and brought back to our memory once again what God moved in our family to bring us all the way to Chile.
There are no coincidences when it comes to God’s plans. And we were reminded of this when after my parents we had the visit of a dear friend and fellow soldier.
Nacho came to visit us just two days after my parents returned to Mexico. And it was a gift to have him here for one week.
The Lord allowed us to serve with him in worship and in the coffee shop for nearly two years at Awaken CDMX, and to be witnesses of his growth and spiritual maturity. Without a doubt, his visit was very special for us.
Within the church activities, we had a meeting of pastors from different congregations. About seven churches gathered in a hall to hear the Word and to have fellowship with one another. The vision that God has placed in us as a church is to be able to serve other churches with what God has given us.
The day after the conference, all the pastors and seconds-in-command from each church gathered to share breakfast at Calvary La Familia. It was a very beautiful time of praying for one another, encouraging and exhorting each other to walk together in the commission that God has given us as believers.
At Awaken Santiago, the women organized their gathering, and Romina had the opportunity to share a message with the women. The Lord has been gradually adding more families to the church, including more mothers and wives.
We know that God carefully prepared those moments to show us His love and care in different ways. As a family, we are very grateful for all of this, as it was a refreshing for our hearts.
